How do I find the lowest vacation price?

Many people think that they’ll only find the best flights or vacation packages on their own. Not true! As a Travel Leaders agency, our travel agents have access to more air and tour packages, hotels, all-inclusive resorts, car rentals, flights and special pricing than you could ever find elsewhere. Because of our partnerships with travel companies, we can even offer you added amenities, such as free breakfasts, shipboard credits and more. We also offer you travel support before, during and after your trips. You can plan your vacation at this website, call us, or come in and see us. However you want to book your vacation, we are available to you.

Here are some tips to follow when searching for your vacation:

  • Plan your vacation as far in advance as possible.
  • Look for early booking discounts.
  • Compare midweek (Sunday – Wednesday) and weekend (Thursday – Saturday) departure prices.
  • Price morning departures and late departures.
  • Price a vacation with and without a weekend stay over.
  • If you are flexible, take your vacation during non-peak times.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

Travel Leaders highly recommends purchasing travel insurance, as it protects your travel investment, health, belongings and vacation memories before and during your vacation. Most travel insurance plans cover trip cancellation, interruption or delays, medical, dental, emergency medical transportation, lost luggage, missed connection, itinerary change, accidental death, and financial default of airlines, cruise lines and tour operators. Most Travel Leaders travel agency locations have access to at least one of the following providers: Allianz Travel Insurance from Allianz Global Assistance, Travel Guard, many individual cruise lines protective coverage and more. Contact your Travel Leaders travel agent for information regarding the purchase of any travel insurance plans to ensure the proper plan for your personal needs.

Do I have to pick from the vacations I see on your website?

Absolutely not. We can customize anything you see on this website or provide you with a one-of-a-kind travel experience based on your unique needs, interests, and budget. We will get to know your travel dreams and then provide you with a vacation that will exceed your expectations. We are here to help you travel better.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Acceptable forms of payment include: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Gift certificates are not redeemable for online purchases.

How early should I arrive to the airport?

You should arrive at the airport a minimum of 1½ hours prior to departure. We strongly recommend reconfirming your flight time 24 hours prior to departure, for both origin and destination flights.

Why take a luxury cruise?

The question is why not? You could experience the luxury of:

1) not standing in line,

2) always getting a chair by the pool,

3) asking your butler to deliver a fat free latte at 6am daily, champagne at 6pm, and a tea kettle with chamomile and honey at 11pm and never getting charged a penny extra,

4) going to the bar where the waiter knows your name and your drink and you don’t have to sign that pesky bill or leave a tip,

5) you can eat at the sushi restaurant every night and not pay extra,

6) the people you meet and dine with are on your level and might even become lifelong friends,

7) the speakers and chefs on board are famous and can be seen on the national news,

8) smaller ship means more relaxation and intimacy,

9) swanky dinners and life like it was in the golden age of cruising delicious cuisine. Not just food, but gourmet food of the highest caliber.

10) Travel as a single and still have a dance partner.

How can I get a good deal on a Luxury Cruise?

Book an off season cruise. Everyone wants to go to Alaska in June or July but if you want to find less crowds and get a better price, try May or September when it’s still mild. For Caribbean cruises, it will be whenever the kids are in school. The week before graduation, the 2nd week of January, the last week of April, or first week of November will get excellent pricing because not as many cabins are taken as the week of holidays like Christmas, New Years, spring break or Fourth of July.

Luxury Cruise Deal tip #2

Book a two for one deal. The brands that really push this special are the Viking River cruises especially in December or April – May. Also, Oceania is famous for its two for one deals, especially during wave season January – April when the cruise ships push to fill up space and offer excellent deals in the process. You can get free air on Avalon River Cruises and 2 for 1 sailings on select Seabourn or Silverseas sailings.

When Is the best time to take an Alaskan Cruise?

Alaska has the most mild weather May to September which makes it the most popular time to Cruise Alaska. If you are looking for better deals, try it during off season. When is the best time for a Mediterranean cruise?

The Mediterranean cruises are generally broken down into Western and Eastern Itineraries. The west includes Italy’s Amalie coast, Barcelona, Spain and sometimes Morocco or Northern Africa. Eastern Mediterranean includes Venice, Croatia, Greek Islands, and Turkey. Weather is best between June-August for sun baking, and March to May or September to October for being slightly cool to very warm.

When is the best time for a Hawaiian cruise?

Hawaii has great weather year round, with even December showing some rather warm weather in the 70s and 80s. For less crowds try the winter months and pick up on some great deals.

When is the best time for an Australia Cruise?

Australia‘s seasons are opposite from The Northern Hemisphere, so if you want to see swimsuits on the beach next to Christmas trees – try the Australian summer months November – January. You might catch a nice skating rink on Biondi Beach in June or July. It’s off season so prices will be better, but it will be cold, so prepare yourself.
